We offer Silver Sneakers Flex classes cardiovascular endurance & strength & yoga
Sculpt, Strength & Core: Mold your body using weight’s, tubes and your own body weight. Gain strength, tone your muscles and feel lean. Be ready to work hard and focus on your goals.
This energetic class changes weekly so you never get bored. Cardio endurance, strength, core & flexibility in one class. Format: HIIT, Tabata or intervals. Can be customized to ALL fitness levels.
Build strength, flexibility, balance & burn calories while having fun on a group setting.
You will see great results and strengthen your core.
This fun & exciting workout can be customized to all levels. You will work cardio endurance, lower & upper body then finish with a dynamic core section!
Yoga: Vinyasa Flow & Hatha Yoga - Yoga poses synchronized with the breath in a flowing sequence. Learn the Sun Salutation series of movements with other hatha yoga poses. There will be a short relaxation time or meditation at the end of each class. Yoga helps improve strength, concentration, and flexibility. For beginners to advanced students as modifications are offered to make this class accessible to anyone.
All classes can be customized to most fitness levels. Don’t let the name of the class keep you from attending. Contact me for details or try a class for free. Every student has to start somewhere. It might be an alternative level from others but eventually your progress will grow. Students have increased their strength, ability, cardio endurance & self-confidence by attending classes. Classes offer a warm, inviting atmosphere where no one should feel left out or intimated. It’s never easy being the new person. A note from Coreen:
I have been bringing fitness classes to the WNY since 1990 & hope to see you soon! It all started in Attica when I taught aerobic jazz for 5 years. I then, made the transition to the YMCA where I taught step, hip hop, Zumba, cardio interval class, strength training, senior fitness, abs, boot camp, trained clients in the wellness center & ran the kids dance program for over 15 years. In 2010, I started Balanced Fitness with 2 classes at one location & gradually expanding over the next few years to 3 locations. In 2016 expanding my business once again to Coreen Wozniak’s Balanced Fitness LLC & offering more than 12 classes in three counties. Our NEW expanded location opened in January 2020 offering even more classes. The fitness world is always changing & the key during every trend is to stay consistent with any exercise program & enjoy it. We are here to keep fit, feel good about yourself, your life, enjoy exercise & age gracefully!

Updated Policies:
Registration deadline: A late fee of $10 will be changed for any payment that is received after the deadline.
Refunds/Credits: No refunds will be issued once you have registered. We offer a credit for a future session or you can select another class.
Make-ups: We allow make-ups if you miss a class. We know life gets hectic and things happen. If you need a make-up, it needs to be done during the current session only. Make-ups can be done in any class that has room. If you are not taking yoga, a $2 fee applies to take a yoga class or make-up. Please let Coreen know if you would like to do a make in another class to ensure there is room. No refunds for missed classes.
Prorated classes: Classes will be prorated by Coreen only after the 3rd week of the session begins.
Don’t forget your sneakers: Sneakers are required for all classes except Yoga, Pilates and Pi-yo. Yoga, Pilates and Pi-yo must be done barefoot or in sneakers. Socks are not permitted unless they are yoga socks with grippers on the bottom. You will not be allowed to workout if you don’t have your sneakers. This is for everyone’s safety and liability reasons.
Weather & closings: check our website or Facebook page for these cancellations. Cancellations
for weather or act of God might not be rescheduled and you will need to do a makeup.
Emergency closing: We will do our best to let everyone know if a class or classes are cancelled due to emergency via text message. Cancelled classes due to emergency’s or instructor illness maybe rescheduled whenever possible. We cannot guarantee the dates of a make-up due to space, instructors’ schedules and other limitations.
NO credits or refunds will be issued for missed classes if you opt out of online/virtual classes that have been offered for current students.

Alexander Community Ed classes:
If Alexander School is cancelled due to weather or after school activities are cancelled, classes are cancelled.
Silver Sneakers:
If Alden School is cancelled due to weather, Silver Sneakers classes are cancelled.
If class is cancelled you will be notified by text & it will be posted on Facebook.

Rachel joined me the end 2017 when I took a leap of faith & moved into the studio. For the past several years I held classes at different locations & it was time to expand.
Rachel has brought so much to the studio & offers our students more opportunity to try new things. She has gone above an beyond to help and cover classes when needed. Thank you Rachel for being part of our team and sharing your new love of fitness with all we serve.
