A Wonderful Fitness Journey and So Much More

Coreen is an amazing trainer and instructor. She has a great sense of what works for people, what they need and how to do it safely. There is a perfect balance of encouragement, compassion and kickass. She is highly knowledgeable. I am a testament to all of this as I was in a really bad place when my friend suggested I try a yoga class at Balanced Fitness a little over a year ago. I have now lost 57 lb, blown my goals out of the water and have a great group of ladies with whom I enjoy spending my time. I am a new person. There is a class for everyone, just look at the variety of choices. Zoom is an option too and that is how I started the more intense classes that I felt self-conscious about or just needed that extra time to make it to work. All the instructors are fabulous. It really is a great place for your fitness journey.

I’m 50+ and fairly new to physical fitness. When I first reached out to Coreen about taking a class, it was with trepidation. Would the workout prove too difficult for my aging body? Could I keep up? Coreen assured me classes are accessible to all and could be modified to fit each person’s abilities. I tried it. I found a welcoming, encouraging community. Coreen, her cadre of instructors, and the other students are nothing but helpful and supportive. My husband and I are now taking three classes a week, crucial to helping us stay fit with our gym closed and workout options limited. It’s never too late to start getting in shape.

I love Coreen’s zoom classes

I love Coreen’s zoom classes .. even At 545 am .. lol and I have been doing them since April 2020 and I would not have been working out this whole last year if it wasn’t for her classes !! Love jumping in the shower right after zoom class is done!! I hope she always continues Zoom Classes .. even after Covid !!

The studio I was taking classes at was moving locations. I knew I didn’t want to go too far to continue Pilates and Yoga. A friend suggested taking a class with her at Balanced Fitness. I agreed and I haven’t stopped taking classes since. I felt at home the moment I walked into Coreen’s studio (old and new locations). Coreen definitely made me feel welcome, as well as her class instructors. Coreen has offered a variety of different classes that can target every age level, including classes for health and well-being. I am thankful for making the decision to take a class at Balanced Fitness, because I know I am taking care of myself inside and out.
